Trip Itinerary & Details
Dates:
December 9th - 20th, 2024
(2 days of air travel & 10 days on land touring Senegal & Gambia)
General Itinerary*
We'll arrive at our hotel and get settled in after the long flight. After resting, we'll travel again to Senegal at 7am where we'll stay for 2 days. The next 3 days will be spent exploring all Senegal has to offer.
On day 5, we'll return to Gambia and start our South Gambian tour where we'll visit James Island, Kunta Kinte's home and living descendants, Baboon Island, Cultural Bonanza and more. We'll have a special gathering with drums for our sendoff, giving thanks. There will be plenty of time to connect with the locals, shop at the market, and go to the beach.

About the Host
Ras Jahred, owner of Natural Vibes, will be the host and main point of contact for this excursion. With over 10 years of experience traveling to Senegal and Gambia he is sure to give everyone an uplifting, safe, and positive experience through the Motherland
Pricing
The cost is $2000 and includes:
- all hotels
- all meals
- all transportation
- entrance fee's into Gambia & Senegal
The cost is split into 4 payments of $400.
*Airfare is not included in this excursion package and is the responsibility of the attendee.

We recommend booking your flight as early as possible because prices can surge around this time of the year. Booking early ensures you can get a reasonably priced ticket.
- There are 2 flights that you'll have to book
1. Flight 1: Book your flight on December 8, 2024 from your current location to the New York (JFK) airport. It's very important to book to New York so we can meet up & get on the same flight to Gambia (BJL)
2. Flight 2: Book your flight from New York (JFK) airport to BJL Airport on Air Senegal
For example: If you live in Seattle you'll book your flight from Seattle to New York airport (this is the first flight).
You will then book your next flight from New York (JFK) to Gambia (BJL). The correct flight to Banjul Gambia Airport on Senegal Airlines leaves from New York at 1:30 am on December 9th, 2024. Be sure this is the flight you choose as it will allow us to fly together as a group.
